Who You Are
Reporting to the CEO (and partnering closely with the COO and VP, eCommerce and Digital Marketing), the Brand Director  is the visionary and hands-on leader responsible for defining and amplifying the brand across all channels. You are both strategic and creative—developing brand strategy, messaging, campaigns, photography, and content—while rolling up your sleeves to ensure exceptional execution.

This is a senior leadership role at Huha, giving you the opportunity to shape the brand story, elevate creative standards, and lead the marketing function alongside other key growth leaders. The Job

Brand Leadership & Strategy
  • Own the evolution of the brand strategy in alignment with business priorities, ensuring strong market presence and competitive differentiation.
  • Help define and ruthlessly uphold brand positioning, messaging, and creative direction across all channels.
  • Act as both strategist and practitioner: research market trends, understand audience insights, craft compelling messaging, and guide storytelling.
  • Lead high-profile brand initiatives, including rebrands, campaigns, partnerships and thought leadership programs.
  • Establish and govern brand standards and messaging frameworks to ensure consistency across all internal and external touchpoints, while always being in the seat of “guardian of the brand.”

Creative Execution & Campaigns
  • Oversee and guide the development of creative assets, copy, photography, and content that bring the brand to life.
  • Partner with agency partners across creative, media, and PR to deliver impactful, brand-aligned campaigns.
  • Partnering with the VP, eCommerce & Digital Marketing, support the creation of integrated campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and emotional connection with target audiences.
  • Stay ahead of market and technology trends, incorporating innovative approaches and AI tools to enhance the brand.

Measurement & Optimization
  • Develop thoughtful ways to understand brand growth, campaign performance, and audience sentiment.
  • Regularly review and refine marketing efforts to ensure they’re resonating and delivering meaningful impact.Use insights to guide the ongoing evolution of strategy, creative, and messaging.
  • Support a strong understanding of Huha’s customer across the organization through ongoing market and audience learnings.

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Partner with the CEO to understand and develop the brand vision and the future of Huha.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a team of creatives and brand marketing experts, establishing the processes, standards and vision needed to scale a high-impact brand. 
  • Partner with eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Product, Customer Experience, and Sales teams to ensure brand strategy fuels growth and strengthens customer trust.
  • Lead and mentor a support team (e.g., Brand Manager), providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, media, and external partners to amplify brand reach and influence.
  • Manage budgets, agency relationships, and vendor contracts to deliver high-quality work efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Deep experience in brand strategy, creative execution, and storytelling, with a history of growing impact and responsibility over time.
  • Proven track record of leading high-profile brand initiatives and campaigns that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring direct reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven and results-oriented, comfortable using KPIs and analytics to measure and optimize brand impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • Experience in women’s lifestyle, fashion, or intimate apparel brands.
  • Hands-on experience with photography, copywriting, and visual storytelling.

Compensation

$120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
